The Catholic faith is the foundation of our school. It's what helps guide us when providing an academically excelled curriculum and safe, secure environment in which our students can learn. As such, we offer our students the opportunity to actively participate in Liturgy and faith sharing throughout the year to help them better understand and appreciate the Catholic faith.
Liturgies: Students attend and help plan Liturgy approximately three times per month. These liturgies are not a substitute for attending Sunday Mass but are an extra opportunity for students to grow in their relationship with God and to grow together as a community of faith.
This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Regis parents and friends are invited to join our liturgies virtually. Tune in to the Regis YouTube channel to catch the livestream of our liturgies. Click below to find this year's liturgy schedule.
2020-21 Liturgy Schedule
Prayer Services: Held once a month, Regis students plan and lead prayer services, which include a reading, a skit, music, prayers of the faithful, and sometimes an activity. Prayer services are a unique way for students to engage in their faith with their peers and to think about different topics, as each prayer service generally has a theme.
First Friday Mass, followed by Adoration: Each first Friday of the month at 7 am you will find members of the Regis community gathered in the Chapel for Liturgy. We celebrate Mass together and then join for fellowship after Mass. Following First Friday Liturgy we have Adoration until the end of the school day. Students get to attend adoration during their Religion classes. Parents are welcome to attend First Friday Liturgy and Adoration.
