Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to Regis Middle School!  

My name is Zachary Zeckser, and I am so fortunate to have been called to serve and lead in Catholic schools!  I've been doing so since I taught high school theology in the Twin Cities in 2000.  Since that start, I've been so fortunate to teach
in a couple of Catholic high schools, earn a pair of graduate degrees, and administer in a few schools.  

Each school certainly offers its own set of unique gifts and challenges, and God works in fascinating ways through all of these ingredients.  With our discerning and prayerful cooperation, we are able to partner with families to accomplish beautiful things in the lives of the children entrusted to us.  Some of those beautiful things we will not see unfold while the kids are still enrolled with us here at Regis, but our job is one of faith and hope in the future.  As such, we simply entrust God (and Xavier High School ;-) with their futures beyond our hallowed halls.  

More than anything, I aim to continually develop a culture within our school that is conducive to each student coming to discover his/her vocation, or calling from God.  That calling comes to them in small ways each day and ultimately points to a call for their lives.  The staff and I are fortunate to be called to this work, and while we often experience great joy in performing it, we also take it quite seriously.
