Regis Middle School Tuition for 2023-24
All tuition rates have been approved by the Regis Middle School Board of Education.
Please note:  We strongly recommend families to apply for financial aid through FACTS. Financial Aid is available in the form of the School Tuition Organization and through Regis Local Financial Assistance. 

Regis Tuition Per Student

Contributing Parish Families:  $5,500.00
Non-Catholic/Non-Contributing Families:  $8,150.00
**The tuition rates listed above are for Regis Middle School Student Tuition only.

Tuition payments are due on the following dates:
Full Payment – August 15, 2023
Monthly – EFT
Quarterly (School Calendar Quarters) – August 15, November 15, January 15, and March 15

The FACTS plan offers three different ways to pay for tuition:

• Electronic debit:  Authorized by parents, from their bank accounts (checking or savings accounts)
• Credit cards:  There will be a 2.85% service fee for all credit card transactions (Visa, American Express, Discover or MasterCard)
• Invoice:  Emailed (only available for direct payment from 529 Tuition Accounts); this requires notification to the Business Office by contact Mary Carey at [email protected]

Tuition DOES NOT include Athletic or Co-Curricular Activity Fees, Instrument Rental, Show Choir Fees, or grade level class trips such as 6th Grade's Camp YAHOOO, 7th Grade's Field Trip or 8th Grade's End of the Year Field Trip.

Fees Schedule - estimated for 2023-2024

• Athletics - $175.00
  • The fee is paid one time during the school year and applies to any Athletic team that a student may participate with during the school year.
  • There are four seasons for Athletics with a variety of choices for both boys and girls in Grades 7 and 8.  Learn more about the Athletics offered at Regis at our Athletics page of our website.
• ​​​​​​​Co-Curricular - $85.00
  • This fee is paid one time during the school year and applies to any Co-Curricular activity that a student may participate in during the school year.
    • Opportunities for participation include:
      • FTC - First Tech Challenge
      • Mock Trial
      • Fall Play
      • Speech
      • Spring Musical
      • Jazz Band (outside of regular Band)
  • Instrument Rental - $100.00
  • Percussion Fee - $40.00
  • Show Choir - TBD Fall 2022
  • Show Choir Combo - TBD Fall 2022
• Class Fund/Class Trip - $50.oo per student
  • This fee is used to fund service trips and class trips during the enrollment of a student.
  • Fees revenue for each Class are recorded into a designated Fund and stay with the Class as the students move through Regis from year to year.
  • Expenses related to service trips and class trips are paid from the designated fund.
    • Grade 6 - Camp YAHOOOat YMCA Camp Wapsi at the start of the school year
    • Grade 7 - trip to be planned each year
    • Grade 8 - trip to Des Moines and Adventureland at the end of the 8th grade year

Financial aid is available through the Archdiocesan STO Program (www.ourfaithsto.org) and Regis Local Tuition Assistance.  All families who want to be considered for tuition assistance from STO or Regis local assistance must complete the FACTS application.

• To be eligible for the Archdiocesan STO program amd/or Regis Local Tuition Assistance, an application must be submitted through FACTS at www.online.factsmgt.com/aid.  FACTS Management processes the financial aid application for both financial assistance programs.  
• One application may be submitted for a household with students at multiple schools within Xavier Catholic Schools and the Archdiocese.
• The FACTS application needs to be completed no later than April 15, 2023.
• To complete the application, you must include a copy of your federal 2022 tax return.  Tax and wage documents must be scanned or faxed by April 15th.  
• If you have previously applied for STO in the past two years, you should use the same log in and password. 
• If divorced parents each pay a portion of the tuition bill, then each household needs to complete an application for a possible award towards their portion of tuition.
• There is a $36.00 non-refundable processing fee for the online application payable to FACTS.
• The school code for Regis, for the application, is 36369.  We urge you to complete the materials early to allow time for notification of any missing/incomplete materials.
• To assist you in completing the application, the FACTS call center is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm and Fridays from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm at 1-866-315-9262.
• Award notification letters will be sent on or before May 26, 2023.
• At Regis Middle School we are happy to assist you with the application process. If you do not have Internet access to complete this application online, please call Mary Carey at 319-363-1968 at the school for assistance.

*STO Qualifying Levels 2023-2024; 400% of federal poverty rate

Families are eligible for STO assistance if their taxable income is at or below the above listed income levels. Local assistance may not be based upon the above. Falling within these guidelines does not necessarily guarantee tuition assistance.

Contributing Parish Family Rate

You must be a registered member of the following parishes — All Saints, Immaculate Conception/St. Wenceslaus, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Matthew or St. Pius X — to receive the in-parish tuition rate.  Parish affiliation will be verified in all cases.

Our supporting parishes contribute a financial subsidy toward each student parishioner's tuition at Regis.  These subsidies help reduce the amount our families pay in tuition.  Therefore, we highly encourage each family to be actively involved in their parishes -- through weekly attendance, service and financial support.  

We greatly appreciate the support of our parishes and encourage our families return that support to them through weekly mass attendance, service to their parish communities and contributing to the financial needs of their parish.
